We treat depression, anxiety, family problems, gay and lesbian issues, women's issues, men's issues, PTSD, individual issues, relationship issues, various issues regarding children, step parenting difficulties, marriage counseling, premarital counseling, victims of crimes, EAP problems, codependency issues, sexual abuse and molestation issues, anger management, and many others. We also offer groups such as anger management, aftercare for substance abuse, domestic violence, and family groups, peer groups, relapse prevention, life skills, education for high risk drug and alcohol use. We are also a training facility with Interns who are working towards licensing. Our mission is to be the best possible avenue for your mental health recovery. We strive to meet our clients needs and goals to be able to help them be the best functioning and successful person in their lives. In addition we perform alcohol and drug evaluations for the out of state court and DMV ordered evaluations. In addition we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs and Partial Hospital Programs for substance abuse and drug addiction.'We are a recovery center that focuses on substance abuse and addiction. We offer two IOP's daily to accommodate the working individuals. We will also off a PHP Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm. We will address issues such relapse triggers, relapse prevention, peer groups, anger management, domestic violence and family groups, substance abuse education, individual counseling with a certified alcohol and drug counselor and individual therapist for psychotherapy issues. We are pending state certification (3 weeks away). We offer a professional atmosphere with the best certified counselors and licensed therapist available. We have an aftercare program for those that need extra help once completing our program.

It takes a lot of courage to walk in the door of a substance abuse treatment center. Whether you have already made the decision or you are still thinking it over, we want to help you any way we can.

People get here in different ways. Some are sent by Courts or other authorities, some come at the urging of family or employers, while others “show up on their own”. Some are relieved to finally get help, while others are angry about finding themselves here. What they all share is that substance abuse has created a problem they can no longer ignore.

Second Chance staff are qualified by both education and experience to help you begin your journey to recovery. We understand the uncertainty you may feel. We won’t pretend that getting better isn’t hard work. But recovery can turn your life around and let you live better than you may think possible.

We can show you a way out. And you don’t have to do it alone. At Second Chance you will find friends for the journey.

There was a time when most people didn’t know anyone who was in recovery. Nowadays, just about everyone knows someone who has taken that first big step. And it really is okay.

But knowing someone who has done it is different from taking the leap yourself.

What if you’re not “there” yet? What if you’re not sure you have a problem? What if you’re not completely sold on the idea that you need treatment?

At Second Chance, there’s a lot you can do.

You can come in and talk with us about it. You can ask any questions you have about drugs, alcohol, addiction, recovery or our services.

If you want, you can be informally assessed for a drug or alcohol problem. You can drop into our recovery groups to see what they are like.

If you’d like, you can talk with some current participants and hear their experience.
You can attend our clean and sober social functions, such as our potluck luncheons and Family Nights, to get a different “feel” for what recovering life looks like.
